I have been an AZ resident since 1987. I grew up in the Midwest, became a registered nurse in 1978, married, and had a son and daughter. I obtained my BA in 1989. We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary next year. In 1999, I changed my career focus from healthcare, to technology. I have had, in the past, my own business in computer networking, which inspired me to pursue a new career in that field. I hold numerous certificates in information and healthcare. I am currently enrolled in a Master’s program at the U of P, majoring in education.

Pursuing an Associate in Science Degree Estrella Mountain Community College (Tentative completion Fall 2003) Many students have asked me, "why would you complete this associates degree, when you will soon have a masters degree?" My answer is simply, completion. I believe it is always important to always complete everything you start. I also believe in the value of our own degree program!
